One of my colony girls found nature's perfect cat bed--a big, smooth rock with a hollow where she can sun herself and sleep the afternoon away! This is Lola. It is so hot today. I carried ice and water and put it all over the property, though they won't get near it until the ice melts. They're chicken cats. :)

I haven't released anything since the Bat McCall series, over two years ago, but I'm finally back to writing and publishing books. So I gobbled up Stephen King's Fairy Tale, then blew through the Bill Hodges trilogy, and am now reading The Outsider as I wait for Holly. I've been reading Stephen King since I was a kid.
