"Not what you'd expect from a ya book. So intense."

"I did not want to read this book. This author has 2 other fabulous series that I'm addicted to and I didn't want to get roped into a third. Also I don't like post apocalyptic books. But I broke down and started it.
Less that 2 chapters in I had to put the book down and walk away it was so intense. As I read it just got more and more nail biting, edge of your seat type action.

I'm seriously pissed that I'm now waiting for 3 books from this author. She's a diabolical genius. This is not your typical ya book so don't let that scare you off. If the heroine were not 16 this would be an adult book. (No sexual situations though-dark but clean).

The book starts out with Teagan alone in her town after the end of the world as she knew it. The action picks up, screams along like the Daytona 500 and then crashed into turn four leaving you speechless and jaw scrapping the floor. All of this author's books read so smoothly I would swear they are novellas because before you know it you're done! Hundreds of pages consumed in a frenzy. Sigh. Waiting for book 2."

"Ok woman, I debated starting your new book, We, the forsaken. You are currently holding me hostage waiting impatiently for 2 other series. I did not want to get into yet another, sigh.
Plus, I'm not big on post apocalypse books.
I reluctantly started it tonight after working a 14 hour shift. I just had to set it down and walk away as it was so intense, and I was so involved that I couldn't breathe! You've done it again! You are seriously either the best writer ever, or a diabolical genius.
Hmmmmm, I know! You're both! Love you but I can't read anymore tonight or I'll have a nervous breakdown lol."

We, the Forsaken, book #1

Wednesday, February 1, 2017

So I plan to release We, the Forsaken on Friday, Feb 3. Two days! I'll post as soon as it's available on Amazon.

The cover is just a tiny bit different-- I had the title font color changed to a lighter color to contrast better with the red.  I'm happy with it. I have book two's cover all ready to go as well, and look forward to showing that one to you guys! Not just yet though. I'll wait until I'm close to finished with the book. I have the title for it already, too. Hey, I don't mess around! Okay, sometimes I do, but not this time!

I just finished watching Shameless, season 8. I binged watched all eight seasons, and now I have no idea what show I'm going to lose myself in. Oh, I want to remind you all about the T-shirts. We have shirts for adults, and I've added some Shiv Crew onesies for the babies, too--and they are SUPER cute. If you buy one for your kid or for yourself, send me a picture of you and your kid so I can post it! The baby onesies are only available until Tuesday, and the adult Shiv Crew T-shirts are available until Valentine's Day.
